Was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the offer made by
boye@up.
Is there a catch to this offer. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks, Susan

I am not familiar with boye@up, but if you are looking for a free
website try
http://www.tripod.com

This is a great site, but you cannot have business stuff, just a
personal web page. The page I am working on is reference stuff for
potters, and I am not trying to sell any work through it. At the bottom
of the page is about a one inch by two inch advertisement and links back
to tripod. You get 200k of space. I ran out, because it was getting
pretty graphics intensive, but you can do alot with that amount of
space. I opted to purchase extra space - for 36 bucks a year I got 5
megs. They just moved to a new location and gave me an additional 5
megs, no charge... they were celebrating. I have had no problem with
this and the only catch is the ad at the bottom. You can also choose to
pay @70 bucks a year and have a page with no advertising on the bottom,
it isn't worth it to me for a personal home page. Since the ad is at the
bottom, I don't think it's in your face.

I have been working on my page since November, learning html (it's fun),
and I love it. You don't have to know html to have a page here, because
they have a form type of thingy you fill out, press buttons and voila!
You have a graphic here, Your name there, your links here, whatever...

I have nothing to do with this company or whatever, just thankful they
have this service which thousands are taking advantage of. no kidding.
