Small question here. We were cleaning out the cupboards at the studio
and found some frits that had lead in them. We threw them out!!!! Then
one of the members said that he thought that that was the purpose of
frits, to make the lead non-toxic. My understanding too, but, to be on
the OSHA safe side and with regulations we threw it out anyway. Does
anybody have any scientific data on the toxicity of the lead in leaded
frits - they do produce a beautiful color range.

How did you dispose of the lead containing substances? They are considered
toxic waist and there are very specific laws governing their disposal.
