About fifteen years ago, I saw Paul Soldner demonstrate a simple
fuel-oil burner system for a raku kiln. I remember very little about
it other than kerosene was gravety fed to some kind of aspirator and
regulated by a clamp. Forced air was delivered by a shop vac. Has
anyone out there done this? If so, will you supply some more details?
Are there commercial systems that are more effecient? How does
fuel-oil systems compare in price to propane systems? Thanks.
