Gail Kendall, faculty at U of Nebraska, Lincoln, will be doing a workshop at
University of Florida, Gainesville 11/21-22. Free and open to the public.
Thursday Gail will work from 10 am - noon, potluck lunch in Ceramics 12-
1:30 pm, Gail will work 1:30 - 4 pm. Gail will show slides of her work
Thursday night at the Harn Museum. Friday Gail will work 10 am - noon. After
lunch she will be having individual conferences w/UF Ceramics students.

Gail's work was recently featured at the Arrowmont Utilitarian Clay II
conference in Gatlinburg. She's travelled and studied in Africa and England,
and is interested in work in a "decorative arts" tradition. She uses lowfire
materials, and does handbuilt and thrown and altered work, known for tureen
forms.
