I would recommend that one should use a track-lighting system..
The lights are held in fixtures which swivel and can be directed in nearly
any direction. Typically 75 watt halogen bulbs are used as light sources.
The bulbs can be purchased in a variety of beam angles (wide angle through
narrow angle). Juno and Lightolier are names of two companies that make
quality track-lighting systems...ie..tracks and fixtures. Just check the
yellow pages and look under "light fixtures".. etc.. for a company near you
that deals with these products. If you plan to buy a substancial amount of
lighting equipment insist that you are given a discounted or contractor
price rate.. usually 30% off of retail...
As far as studio lighting is concerned I would recommend staying with
flourescent lights as they are far cheaper to purchase and to operate and
don't cast strong shadows.. ...Marshall
