Although it seems to me we've discussed this before (but since the
Clayart Archive is feelin sorta puny) what seems to be the consensus of
opinion on the optimum % of absorption for outdoor clay flower pots.
Porous enough to allow some moisture from the soil to evaporate but tight
enough so they will resist cracking when it freezes.
