I'm planning to build a new gas kiln primarily for bisque firing porcelain
at cone 01, but I'd like to know if using the gas kiln for firing on-glaze
decoration at cone 015 is also reliable. I've heard from other sources
that a 1cbm gas kiln would have temperature variation too great to have
reliable low-firing results. I've got a electric kiln for low firing but I
need to know that I can make the most of the gas kiln (ie. use it for high
=26 low firings).
Any ideas out there? Greatly appreciate it=21
