Dan,
I have been using glass on glaze and glass on clay @2230F for about 5 years.
How can I help.

Hi--thanks for responding to my note. What I'd like to know is: do some kinds
of glass keep their color better than others?---- Yes
Is there any risk of the glass cracking the clay during the cooling
process?----Yes
Can the glass boil over and ruin the kiln?----Yes
What glazes work well with glass?---- I've used mat and gloss white.
What about underglazes?----Never used them.
Does glass do better in a gas or electric kiln?----No gas here.
And probably a lot of other useful details that I don't even know to ask
about.----I'll be around for any other questions and would be happy to be
more specific.
Also, I noticed that you responded to me privately--my guess is that people
on the listserv would be interested in what you have to say.....You've
started the thread so, we'll see if any interest surfaces.
Thanks--Dan--My pleasure, Boyd
