Kat,
Sandi was right, if you can't download the free glaze calculation software
for MS-DOS computers from the CeramicsWeb, you can have it sent to you by the
Potters' Guild of Annapolis, PO Box 152, Arnold, Maryland 21012. They ask $5
to cover the cost of the disk, postage and the mailer. Please specify the
disk size.
As Richard points out they are limited, but considering the cost and as a way
of experimenting they are useful tools. The one written by Chris Hogg is
even able to calculate back from a given analysis to the recipe, which is a
very slick and useful tool.
I am really excited to hear that we may be able to see HyperGlaze on Windows
computers! That is wonderful news. A couple of people are now working on
glaze programs that will run under Windows, but I've not seen any versions
yet.
