Oh my goodness, Janet, thinking of pouring Albany slip in the driveway?
:-) this unique material, this american classic? When I'm washing
out my brushes & stirring spoons I've been conserving my Albany glaze by
collecting these washings in a small bucket. I'm surprised at how much
is saved this way. After trying all the Albany-substitutes in my glaze
formulas and not getting the colors I get with the real Albany I've
gotten a lot more respectful of this material.
Yes, I realize your comment was in the context of Albany not being
a toxic substance like manganese, but I just couldn't resist.
