glost-firing ladles

I was asked to make two soup tureens with bowls and ladles.
Having just loaded the kiln for the bisque fire, it has dawned on me
that I do not know how to support them in the kiln for the glost firing.
I use a porcellainous stoneware with ^10 glazes, usually heavily
reduced. From experience with this clay, I am pretty sure that the ladle
handles will distort unless I can figure out a way to prevent it.
Obviously I will have to be extra careful that I do not overfire during
the soak. Has anyone on the list any tips? Please...
TIA,
Jean
