Hi, I'm lookin to change green's. The ones I like I don't have the recipes
for.
Looked in all the glaze banks and haven't found. They are Reitz Green and
Vals
green they are old glazes. Does any one have them that are willing to share?
Thanks much. Bruce J. Lake Mills Wi.

I could not tell if you WANTED the Reitz & Cushing's greens, or
wanted to change FROM them, but here are Reitz Green and
Val's AA Copper Blue-Green:

Reitz Green Matt:

70 Neph Sy
5 Whiting
2 Gerstely Borate
15 Petalite
8 Clay

add:

Cobalt Carb 1%, Rutile 1%

VC AA Copper Blue-Green:

46 Cornwall Stone
34 Whiting
20 EPK

add: copper carb 4%, tin oxide 4%

This glaze webs and streaks (sometimes) similarly to an ash glaze.
Will go red sometimes in reduction, I have noted it on the under
sides of platters with wide rims and so on. Nice glaze, but don't
know if it's the one you're looking for.

If it isn't, then if you'll send me your email address, I'll
send some other Cushing green's I have (not to clutter the list).
I'll be out of town until next Monday, however.

Sorry, meant to say: ^9 - 10, both glazes.

Hi Dannon:
Just wondering what cone to fire the two glazes
that you posted?
Thanks, Marc
