I am wondering if anyone has ever done contact prints with gum bichromate
directly on decal paper? I want photographic quality reproduction on
some decals for a sculpture. I tried creating a halftone print and
silk-screen, but the quality is not as good as I would like. Any
information in regard to this process would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks. Judy Condon

Judy : I am thinking of trying this too as at present I can only print my
images on flat surfaces. Decals are covered in Kent Wade's book on
Alternative Photographic Processes ( Morgan & Morgan, New York, 1978).
There is a discussion group and web site with archives dealing with
alte-photo-process I can refer you to if yr interested. george

George,
I would appreciate information on the alternative photo processes
news group on behalf of a BA student of mine.

John Moir and others: The web site I mentioned that deals with
alternative photographic processes can be accessed at
http://www.usask.ca/~holtsg/photo/faq.html
The site includes archives of the alt-photo-process discussion group going
back to 1994. There's not a lot there about photoceramics, but I have
made contact with a few interested people that way, including Bob
Wicks who belongs to CLAYART too I see ( Hi Bob!) George
