* Hallelujah Pottery School *

THE TWO WEEK COURSE :
3 Individual Study 3 is our method of teaching that is non-competitive and
very concentrated. Instruction takes the hands-on approach, as
demonstration and doing result in practical experience. Beginning at your
level of potting, skills accelerate rapidly in this focused setting.
Repetition is the key to learning as you work through the clay cycle. The
school is limited to four students each course.

SCHOOL HOURS :
The school begins Monday morning and ends Friday at 5 PM. Studio hours are
9 AM till 5 PM daily. Work may continue in the evening until 8 PM. The
intervening weekend will provide a welcome break and the opportunity to
explore the local area and visit the craftsmen.

PARTICULARS :
Students are asked to bring appropriate work clothing, towel, note pad and
their own tools. A basic selection of tools are in the studio.
A catered lunch at the studio will be available. Other meals at local
restaurants or from your kitchen.

THE 10 WEEK SUMMER APPRENTICESHIP :
For a person able to devote the summer to an in depth adventure into the
methods and techniques of living as a full-time potter. Individual Study9
throughout the 10 weeks encompasses a total approach to pottery. The
practical experience of working through a complete pottery cycle, and then
repeating it is basic. Individual style will be encouraged as skills are
fine tuned. The apprentice will exhibit and sell at a local Art/Craft Fair
to end the apprenticeship term.
Training hours are : Tuesday thru Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM
