Admirable idea, but I think you may run into trouble. I've seen lovely
hand-made pots that have very little in the way of finger marks, and also
cast ware made from a thrown pot with finger ridges. If one were REALLY
interested, it would be as possible to put a potters' "stamp" on a cast
piece. Potters would know, but the general public might not.

Seems more productive to use the space to explain your process to the
fullest, and let the chips fall where they may for the other guys. Perhaps a
positive explanation of the techniques and values in your work will raise
questions for them when they look at other work.
