Well, I tried to help. If only one could suck back a message from the
ether! Having deleted the Digest, I cannot check which cone B-mix you are
using -- that weeps with uncrazed glazes. Because my brain is tuned in to
cone 6, I simply assumed you referred to the ^5 B-mix. Of course, Laguna
prepares a cone 10 B-mix, and that may be the one with which you struggle.

So ignore my suggestion to fire higher, or try it in a test kiln anyway.
Suggestion to phone them at 800-452-4862 is still not a bad idea.

You may have inadvertently purchased the cone 10 B-mix. This body is
unvitrified even at cone ten. I had some friends in Southern California who
used to use the cone 10 B Mix very successfully as a Raku body.

You could make a small pot and have someone fire it for you in a cone 10 kiln
to check.Needless to say you may want to place in ine a cone ten bowl to
protect the kiln just in case it isn't a cone 10 body.

Good luck!
