A friend and I have been making pots for 2 years now using a small electric
kiln which only fires to cone 8. We make our own glazes but are getting
bored with them because of the limitations. We would like to purchase a
portable gas kiln but know very little about them.
Does anyone have any suggestions or advice on the subject?
Thanks,
Pat

One book that might help is THE KILN BOOK, by Fred Olsen. There are others too
