Help!

Does anyone else out there use "B-Mix 5" clay from Laguna?

I recently noticed that some vases I made "weep" or "sweat" when filled
with water for a while, even though they are completely glazed on the
inside. (Gloss (not crazed) and matte glazes, both weep.)

I am worried that some of these "weepers" may damage the surface of
customers' furniture - an unhappy prospect for someone relatively new in
the marketplace. I have B-Mix 5 pots fired to ^4 and to ^6. Both show the
problem. They ring true, no cracks or fissures.

I'm puzzled if this is truly a ^5 clay or simply misadvertized. Short of
boiling a piece in water to measure the absorption, I'm at a loss why a
"^5" clay would have this problem.

TIA.
