Hi Liz,
I'm not familiar with this glaze recipe, but if there's any tin oxide in the
recipe, that will react with the chrome to give pink to maroon. I use a
Cr/Sn glaze from Richard Burkett that calls for .15% Chrome oxide and 5% Tin
oxide and I get a great maroon color.
