Hi Vince,
All this discussion about hydrometers on the list, gave me the idea to
measure the specific gravity of my glazes. We have a hydrometer hanging
around the house not being used, or so I thought.
Just a warning to anyone else with the same idea, do NOT borrow from a
beer or wine making spouse (even if you think they'll never use it again) I
was told in a very diplomatic way, but the message was clear, his beer and
wine making stuff is out of bounds for pottery.
I read this morning about how great the wine siphon hose
works.....hmmm.....just a thought.......... Guess I better get my own.
