I am graduating from college this saturday and want to continue working with
clay. Only thing is, I am in need of a kiln. I am looking for something
that could have possibly been used, but I only have a budget of 1,000. If
anyone has any ideas or knows of a source please let me know.

Erin,
Congrats on the graduation. Now where are you? In our area, the one and
only kiln repair guy owns one of those molded ceramics stores. He is THE
source for used kilns here, as he buys 'em and rebuilds them, then
resells them and he does really good work at a reasonable price.
Check CM, in the classified ad section, for a used kiln near you. Also,
call around and find the local molded ceramics store. Even if they don't
sell kilns, they may have a lead for you.
