I'd like to thank John Baymore for getting to the heart of the issue about
the controversy over glaze ingredients.

I'm worried that his post was so long, many might just whiz past it. If I
might be so bold as to summarize - with detailed knowledge, dangerous
things can be safely used, and without the detailed knowledge, it's best to
play it safe and stay away.

Keep up the chatter! I've been learning here for 2 years, and still
addicted as ever.

I would like to second Corinne's comments about John's excellent summary of
this discussion. His kind, gentle and informative post should be a model
that we should all aspire to.

I have saved it - as I do all of John's post - if you missed it and want to
read it just let me know.
