Hi all.
I want to thank all of the CLAYART people (and many others) who have sent me
information (and good wishes) on my upcoming trip to Japan. There are simply
too many to list you all here!!!! My e-mail has been clogged. Thanks to
everyone.
Particular thanks to five people....... Barbara Sansing for assisting with
shipping pots to Japan and arranging money exchange, Richard Mahaffey for
writing me volumes of e-mail (since July) full of insightful observations,
Marcia Kindlmann for sending me the entirety of her entire Japan trip dairy and
also a "snail mail" of a museum catalog, James Coenen for helping with reams of
practical information and making the arrangements for my arrival in Tokyo, and
Inagaki-san for his offer of being a tour guide for a "gaijin togeika".
I will be leaving on next Tuesday and I will not be checking e-mail for about 3
weeks from then. I'll be setting CLAYART to "no mail".
