I received a sample of Jasper Slip Clay from United Clays, probably from
something I signed at NCECA. Does anyone ot there have experience with this
clay. Any info would be appreciated.

Donald,
I thought I was the only one who had this problem. But don't worry you
should receive some more information in the mail with recipes and
everything. If you don't, email me privately. I'll copy it and send it along.

Donald,

Pete Pinnel had some at his work shop at Hood College last week, it was
used to make a in a tri-axial test, and in a few other glaze experiments
at cones 04,6, oxidation and cone 10 reduction. and he said that it
looked like the albany slip. also in the fusion button test it melted
into a lovely button on glaze at all temps. Some where in my notes I
think that I have what it was mixed with. And I know that Pete has the
info. But if you have a decent sample, do some of the tests, it really
did look good. write me if you want me to check my notes for the exact
numbers.
