Does anyone know of articles written about John Leach in the last few
years? I have looked but not found. Karen

Karen,
There is a fine article on John Leach in the January/February, 1989
isssue of the British publication, Ceramic Review, with good photos of
his work. Phyllis Blair Clark, organizer of the Wooster Ohio
Functional Workshop, who also manages John Leach's workshops in this
country, may have information on more recent articles.

If you are unable to locate a copy of article I would be happy to
photocopy it and send it by snail mail. The photocopies won't show the
the photos in color but they will show the pots fine form.

Sincerely,

Muchelney is next door to Langport. You should find that easily enough on
the map. The Abbey is really nice but also look in the church next to it.
It has a painted ceiling and medieval tiles under the carpet near the pulpit
(if I remember correctly). Just up the road on the other side of Langport
is a small village called Aller. There you will find another excellent
potter by the name of Bryan Newman. If you get to either one they will
direct you to the other. Rent a car for a day and do it you won't be
disappointed. They are both terrific and the countryside is great. Makes
me homesick.
