Really enjoyed listening and watching this thoughtful, caring man. He
injects much of these same characteristics into his pots and the global
enviromental issues so important to him.
He demonstrated many of his design concepts from his "repeat ware" line
and concentrated on form and function problems. He also brought with him
lots of slides, video presentations, poems and letters; introducing us
to potters of England, India and Nigeria. And stories, lots and lots of
stories! Some purely entertaining but many that teach and illuminate the
qualities which are the essence of a good potter.
"Right. Thats it."
"Potters of the World... IGNITE!" John Leach, 1997.
