Julie,
DON'T wait until your wrists are "more symptomatic" before you get
your pugmill. Once symptoms start appearing the damage has already
been done.

I, too, am a hobby potter, not an 8 hour-a-day professional
(someday soon for me, too). I live with permanently weakened wrists
because I did not recognize what was happening to me and continued
doing the things that were causing the damage. You can relieve the
pain but you cannot repair damage already done. The money you spend
on a good pugmill now is money you will not have to spend later on
treatment.

It may seem to be a lot of money, and it is, but it will be one of
the smartest purchases you can make.

By the way, my vote is for a de-airing pugmill so you can go from
pug to the wheel without any wedging.

Barney in Minneapolis - finally some rain this coming weekend.
