Fellow Clayarters,

I am interested in finding out about and seeing the art of these two clay
artists. However, I haven't been able to find anything in the public
library, or in the library of the local college. Nor have I been able to
find anything in books in print. Occasionally some book will have a brief
intro to Karnes' work, with one or two pictures, but I would like to see
more. Are there retrospective show catalogues out there that anybody might
have to sell, or would the artists themselves have some sort of publication
that I could purchase? Does anybody have information about them, or even
their addresses so that I could write them myself. For whatever info folks
might have, thanks in advance. -=Rick=-

Just back from CAA in NYC and saw Karen Karnes show at the Garth Clark
Gallery. Very different work from her well known saltglazed stoneware
functional pots. See if you can get a catalog.
