We'll be returning to our roots in the Cumberland Gap/Cumberland
Mountain area of Kentucky and then traveling the 3 to 8 whole miles to
West Virginia and Tennessee soon. We'll be in Middlesboro, Ky,
specifically, and travel through the new tunnel to Harrogate, Tennessee,
before moving on to Knoxville and then back to Louisville. Any potters
or galleries in Middlesboro or Pineville, Cumberland Gap, Harrogate,
Norton, and vicinities? We have names of some potters in Knoxville and
Louisville, but maybe we've missed some noteworthy ones there, also.
We'd appreciate any information that points us in the right direction.
Thank you, clayarters.

I went to school there in Harrogate at Lincoln Memorial University (we
called it Lunatics Made Useful). Anyhow, they do have a small pottery
program there. Perhaps the current instructor would know of who is where
in that area. 423-869-3611 is the campus main number. They can direct you
from there. Its one of those "push this number if..." systems but
eventually you can talk to a real person.

Beautiful area thru that area. I lived there for over 6 years (incl 2 yrs
in Middlesboro) I was there in downtown Middlesboro when the tornado hit
in 88. Scary. And the tunnel is finally open??? Wow. They started
building that thing in like, 86 or so.

Good luck!
