Hi fellow mudmuckers,
To address three theads at once could not be passed up !
John and Don shared great information on glaze structure and
formation of crystals for iron saturated glazes. Valued information
simplified..........

Here's a Tomato Red recipe from a thread a few weeks back...

Bone Ash 348
Magnesium Carb. 213
Kona F-4 1449
Georgia Kaolin 213
Flint 777
Red Iron Oxide 213
Bentonite 39

MIx Tomato Red as above add 10% glucose strain through 200 mesh
sieve and.. voila ! Tomato Red converts to Ketchup Red !

Here is to a little humor after a day in the trenches and mud pits,
propogate Clayarts lighter side. More kpa per square meter of Newtons
standard apples and other strange veggies.
