I have a friend who is a wonderful sculptress and hand builder of medium
size pots, but at age 86 feels it is time to leave here (Palm Springs)
and enter an assisted living facility in Chicago to be near her family.
I know the facility has a ceramics room, but not the ability to fire
clay.
Clay is what keeps Paula alive and alert. Presently she does her work
at a local community college and has exhibited and won many prizes.
Without the ability to continue to produce, I fear for Paula mental and
physical health. She is in wonderful form at this time. Do any
clayarters know of any facilities in Aurora Hills that could fire her
work. Aurora Hills, I believe is NE Chicago, Ill.
