lampshades & venturi burners

I think this message got lost in cyberspace. If not, forgive the repeatition!
Some potter friends who are not on net asked me to ask if anyone out there has a
wholesale source for lampshades. Their source has dried up and they are in dire
need!

Also, another friend is having trouble with her Venturi burner and wonders if
there is any written diagrams, information, etc. on burners. The people she
bought her kiln from are no help at all, did not send any information with the
kiln, and I don't think really know much about burners!

TIA for any help on the above

Elaine,

Have your friends give me a call. I know I can help with the burner
questions. We also spent several years making Raku lamps, so I'll probably be
able to help with the shade question.

Mf unable to find specific help, have your friend talk with the people at
the LP gas supply office or a person who works with furnaces. They work
with burners all the time and have been helpful to me in the past. Nan Dufresne
