It may be that the answer to my question was contained in one of the recent
postings re: "cracking teapots," all of which I neglected to stop and read.
--Sorry if someone takes the time to repeat something previously posted...
A friend of mine has a beautiful handbuilt coiled teapot that she made long
ago. She'd like to use it, but it leaks through invisible cracks along the
coil lines. Is there a way to repair it? Could I re-glaze and re-fire it
while praying to the kiln gods or should I advise her to find a good spot on
a shelf where it's aesthetics will be appreciated?
Thanks for any suggestions!
