Linda:
I agree with Tamsin about the pacifica leg extenders. I have them and it
has made a tremendous difference in my back problems. I also bought the
seat for the pacifica. When I got it of course it was too short with the
extended legs. I was surprised that when I ordered a pacifica wheel,
extended legs and seat, that they would have assumed I needed the seat to
go with the legs but they didn't. Anyway it was easily fixed by removing
their short pipe and welding on a longer one. I find it difficult to throw
standing up without the seat behind me. Not that I sit on it but I just
rest my butt on the front of the seat for support. I throw alot of fairly
large pieces and need the support to center. Interestingly, when I moved my
wheel into the patio to throw outside for the summer, I decided not to put
the legs on and go back to the standing on your head method. After two
weeks, I had back cramps and pains I had forgotten about. Went back to the
extended legs, and no pain at all. For me it works wonders.
I just finished reading through a friends catalog she just got from Axner,
and they have an interesting leg system in their for a Creative Industry
wheel. Worth investigating I would think. It is height adjustable that
looks like a better system than mine. Mine is really tricky to adjust and
level.
Also will be watching for the new wheel Stephen Jepson is coming up with.

No sense of smell, I look like hell. My body drooping, got trouble pooping.
