Does anyone have the molecular limits for cone 9-10 for strontium? I am
trying to reformulate some barium glazes with this material..
Thanks!

Hi June,
Cone 8 to 10 SrO - 0.0 to 0.7 from Magic of Fire (current version) can be
downloaded from IMC home page as "read before you pay" shareware. A book
about using calculation to deal with glaze faults and formulate your own
glazes by the author of Insight.

Dear Ron:
Thanks for the information on the strontium. I will check out the IMC home
page and download that book. It sounds like it will be some good updated
information on these raw materials.
By the way, Jim and I drove all the way up to Linfield college on April 25th
to see the invitational show. It was a five hour drive and when we got there
the show had been dismantled!. The advertising here on Clayart and their own
advertising said it was going to run to the 26th. Needless to say we were a
bit annoyed with the lack of professionalism in taking down the show a day or
two early. Evidently several other people showed up that day to see the show
since the Oregon potter showcase show and sale was happening that weekend as
well. Fortunately we got to see and purchase some very nice pots and drove
through some beautiful wine country so the trip wasn't a total bust.
Thanks again.
P.S. I tried to send this to you personally but the mailer daemon said there
was an error with your address. Maybe you can send me your e mail so that I
don't need to clutter the clayart list with my thanks in the future.
