Hello again,
Does anyone have a recipe to share, for a matte raku glaze that yields
"rock"-like results (this would mean, to me, no blues, silver, or copper
but more like yellow, browns, reds, some green)?
TIA,
Marianne

Marianne:
I have used this recipe several times and got the
results you requested. However, to get the
above earthy tones you have to reduce the
kiln as well as the post firing container to
avoid greens and blues.
90% copper carb
10% 3110
Good luck!

Just tried one today. I believe it was called Kansas City Red. I used all
ingredients except the Copper Carbonate:
50% Colmenite
50% Borax
50% Rutile
The colour is rich orange-brown matt -
