I studied ceramics/pottery at the State University of New York at
Plattsburgh. Since then, I've moved to Southern Maryland, and organized
my new home to include a basement studio space. My back yard is full of
indigenous clay, and I've already agreed to take on two students.
However, I feel both isolated and lost, and would love to have an email
penpal/mentor/friend to talk to about the overwhelming practical aspects
of setting up shop alone.
I look forward to hearing from interested parties by any of the following
means:
email (checked monday - friday): jabroadwell@osprey.smcm.edu
email (checked saturday-sunday): smartin@eagle1.eaglenet.com
telephone (evenings and weekends): (301) 862-0280
u.s. mail: PO Box 62, St. Mary's City, Maryland 20686
thanks in advance

Jeannine- why settle for one or two, when the best group of compatible
companeros
in the world is right here. - Here on the Clayart list.
I have never even imagined such an open, helpful, tolerant, group. When the
'net is here, and
the clayart group is around (really around-- the world) NO one can be lost
and lonely.
Bill- feeling friendly on Persimmon Hill, after one bout with barium
(sulphate), and getting
ready for another (other end) tomorrow.
