Does anyone know about the itinerary this summer? Is Robin Hopper doing
his glaze workshops? I need to know tout de suite so I can rustle up
some money for it.

JUNE 3-10 AESTHETICS OF CERAMIC FORM with Les Manning........a hands-on =
=3D
program designed for the ceramic artist
able in technical skills wishing to examine form from =3D
a personal perspective.
=3D20
JUNE 6-10 ENLIGHTENED CLAY SCULPTURE with Elaine Brewer-White....... a =3D
focus on creating clay sculpture that
incorporates light.. The challenge is to re-invent =3D
the lamp - a utilitarian object made into an object

JUNE 6-10 HANDBUILT POURING POTS with Sam Chung......focus will be on =3D
handbuilt pitchers, teapots, ewers using
slab construction and paper templates and assembling =3D

JULY 4-8 HANDBUILT DECORATIVE TILES with Dawn Detarando.......will =3D
focus on techniques to achieve ideas and=3D20
goals through the use of drawing, carving, modelling =3D

JULY 4-8 RAKU with Robert Piepenburg.......demonstrations and group =3D
activities will be used to influence changes that
can transcend student's current ways of working with =3D
clay, including special raku techniques.

JULY 4-8 SCULPTURE: LIFE-SIZE CLAY BUST with Brian =3D
McArthur.....student's will create a life-size clay bust; a self-
portrait or develop a character using photos. Brian's =3D

JULY 11-15 HEAD SCULPTURE with Elly Scheepens......a real human skull =3D
will be used as the model for sculpting a
3-D clay re-constructed human head....a unique =3D
opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of anatomy.
