Looking for a commercial, white, mojalica glaze that I can BRUSH on. One with
Tin. I have been using Linda Arbuckle's recipe , and it is beautiful, but
for pots w/fancy handles, and height , I would like the ability to brush on
the glaze instead of dipping. Looking for one that I can still use my mason
stains with. Have tried the new Ammaco and not happy with the results.
Doesn't have the depth in color that I want. Thanks

I have tried Duncan's brush on called "Downright White" on a red low fire
clay from Aardvark. The results were pretty terrible. When the glaze was
applied to both the interior and exterior of a piece, there would be
horrible blistering of the glaze. I tried to remedy the problem by talking
to people but I found no answers. Duncan refused to accept responsibility
for the glaze problem so I'm stuck with 5 gallons of the crap.
You may look into Gare glazes, which I had success with but don't have
enough info to give a recommendation.
Good Luck!
