mold making and slip casting workshop

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Santa Fe. While we were there we
stopped at Allan Walter's new gallery. Mr. Walter uses plaster molds for much
of his wares and is
a master mold-maker. He will be teaching a class from August 5th - 9th on
Mold Making and Slip Casting at Santa Fe Clay. The class size is limited and
the tuition is $285 + $45 lab fee. This seems very reasonable for a five day
workshop. I had already signed up for the class before our trip, but, after
seeing Mr. Walter's plaster work, my husband also decided to take the class.

There are still some openings. For information: 505-984-1122 (Santa Fe
Clay).

Considering the reasonable fees and the quality of the instructors that S. F.
Clay is offering (Mary Barringer, Wayne Higby, George Mason, etc.) I don't
think that they've done a sufficient job of advertising their summer
workshops).

with Santa Fe Clay.
