more compressor basics

In a short follow up on my previous post on compressor basics, its
important to ascertain how many CFM of air you will need, and then size
your supply lines accordingly. I have used anywhere from half inch to one
inch galvanized or PVC piping. Plastic is easiy to use and schedule 40
stuff is rated to 400 psi. Metal pipe is fine too, but if you don't have
cutters and threaders, use plastic.

The Graingers catalog has a good info section with lots of technical data
of air movement, pipe sizing, etc. etc
