One VERY IMPORTANT thing I forgot to include in the post about how to deal
with the nail fungus.

The detritus that comes from the degraded nail is INFECTIOUS. And this is
why it spreads from one nail to the next. If you use any tool on a nail, DO
NOT use the tool on anorther nail without sterilization first. If you have
the stuff on one nail, isolate the others while you work on the one. Wrap a
cloth around them. All it takes is for a single bit of that infectious
material to be transported and jammed under another nail through
carelessness and bingo, another infected nail. Be sure you have a cloth or
paper towel under your foot or hand to catch falling debris. Then clean up
good. Dispose of the towel, and sterilize your metal tools, ie nail scissors
, trimmers, etc. throw away nailboards etc, don't reuse. They hold infection
detritus on the surface in the abrasive. Besides, they are cheap. Was hands
thoroughly with strong soap and water.

Finally, when trimming, except for nail filing, soaking the nail to soften
it will help. If you are in a position where you must keep your infected
fingers in water, find another way. Soaking helps to work with the nail, but
continuous soaking as in dishwashing, throwing, etc. is counter productive.
The nail needs to be kept dry for the most part, between applications of
Kombucha.

Good Luck
