For those of you interested in paper clay, last year I attended a workshop
given by Brian Gartside from New Zealand. He gave several here in the US.
I do not know where he is at present but if you hear of him giving a
workshop I highly recommend you go. He is an excellent teacher and knows
his paper clay.
Lori Wilkinson in Roswell NM where it is getting closer and closer to tax
time. Uck.

For those of you interesting in the paper clay workshop by Brian Gartside
I can vouch for his enthusiasm and intesity. He is currentlt (like as soon
as we get back from Lunch!) doing a workshop on both paper clay and his
gumboot glaze technology (or lack thereof).
The glaze workshop was facinating and really really simple but so interesting
for anyone from a utilitarian potter to a sculptor looking for new surfaces.
I am not sure where he is travelling from here but I am sure he is interested
in doing more workshops while still in the states.
