Hello Clayarters!
My good friend, a wonderful potter, is moving from N.Y. State to Seneca,
South Carolina.(That's near Pendleton and Clemson University.) Are any of
you near there, or can you direct me to potteries, or places related to
pottery, local to there?

seneca south carolina is about 100 miles +- from columbia and you are
welcome to visit me anytime you come down our way.Mike Vatalero at Clemson (
i believe the ceramics department may be under the architectural department
there) SHOULD HAVE THE NAMES FOR THAT AREA YOU WANT.I did my residencies
for the south carolina arts commission in that area light years ago in
seneca, salem and fairplay and found it a charming area with lovely people
who were so nice and friendly.I HOPE YOUR FRIEND ENJOYS IT.Tell her that
Ashville isn't that far away either and highwater will be convenient if she
ventures up there. email me for directions to my place.
