Lori Wilkinson asked me about how to register for the conference. I can't
get her e-mail address to work, so I hope people will fogive me for
responding here.

To get the registration poster and info for the Las Vegas conference, call
Regina Brown at 1 (800) 99-NCECA. She'll put you on the mailing list for the
poster, which comes out in December.

This is my first NCECA conference, and I have a question. I am in the
process of filling out the form for payment, and I am stuck at the
shuttle and tour bus tickets. To purchase, or not to purchase??? I
have looked at the program, and it looks like there might be some time
on Wednesday for which to tour ... any guidance would be very much
appreciated!

Paulette: I would sign up for the 2 tours in town that are $5 each.
They would fill your day and are worth the $10.
There is one farther afield. I registered so long ago, I can't remember
where it goes, but unless you also want to tour on Saturday afternoon,
just sign up for the two I mentioned, and enjoy. You will make friends
on the bus.
Welcome to the festivities and great exhibits.

Mel and other NCECA cognocenti,

Far be it for me to suggest to anyone else how to do something, but here goes! I just registered for the pre-NCECA conference at Lane Community College in Eugene and noticed that they used an online service to do the registrations, name of Tollbox Conference Management, contact:
bobwinget@toolboxcm.com

Just a thought. I know there are others out there too. Check it out for 2007.

Cheers,
Linda

This pre-conference workshop and celebration in Eugene that Tom Rohr
organized is going to be fabulous. I just finished a day-long work
party at Tom's getting the wood/biodiesel/salt kiln loaded, and a fine
time was had by all, with Joe Davis on hand from Ohio U. and fine folk,
fine food all 'round. Those who have registered(or will) are going to
remember this one!

Cheers, Hank

i remembered that in a few days the registration fee
for nceca will go up, so i just registered.
now its different what it used to be,
i could not pay for the bus tour, it was
not included in the registration fee. i wanted to do
it after the registration, and i couldnt, my password
wasnt good for them (the same password was good for
the membership and nceca registration tho..... )
did anybody here have a similar problem?

Yes, they have totally screwed up the process. I had to pay for the
membership and then the conference. I had already paid for the Falling Water
Tour. So I made three separate payments.

2012 ADVANCED CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Thanks to the 2600+ ceramic art creators and lovers who made 2012
Early Bird Registration for the
2012 NCECA
Conference in Seattle a great success. If you are not yet registered,
be aware that mailed registration forms must be postmarked by
February 29, 2012 and Online Advanced Registration deadline expires
at midnight EST, March 7, 2012. After this, the next opportunity to
register for the Conference will not occur until NCECA is onsite at
the Washington State Convention Center where registration fees will
increase. The initial response to the 2012 Conference leads us to
anticipate robust interest in Advanced Registration. Avoid the lines
and higher registration costs of Onsite Registration in Seattle. Call
volume coming into the NCECA office was exceptionally high during the
final days of Early Bird Registration. Don't wait until the last
minute... Review
Tips for
Online Advanced Conference Registration. Meet us ON THE EDGE with
your Conference badge secured.
