Howdy,
I have a student that is looking for Tom Coleman's purple/C10. I am told
that it is was published some time back but I can't find it anywhere. Can
anyone Help?

Thanks.

Mark:

I've used the following Coleman Purple (Cone 10, reduction) with good
results.

Barium Carbonate 4.98
Dolomite 4.97
Gerstley Borate 4.97
Whiting 7.96
Zinc Oxide 2.49
Custer Feldspar 49.75
Flint (200 mesh) 24.88
100.00

Tin Oxide 1.00
Cobalt Carbonate 0.24
Copper Carbonate 1.99

It came from the September 1984 Ceramics Monthly. In addition to
this glaze, there are other excellent glazes to experiment with. Try
the Oxblood Red Glaze.
