We are building a large kiln for a community of potters. We need to find a
large supply of 1 x 2 kiln shelves. Money is tight, so we are looking for
the best deal to stretch the dollars.
If anyone has good used shelves or a supplier recommendation, please email.
Thanks in advance.

The Kohler Co. is an excellent source of used shelves in Wisconsin.
Perhaps there is a similar company that you could contact near you. Kohler
sells the shelves by special arrangement with potters for scrap value. A
few years ago I paid $15 for24x36" shelves and cut them down to 12x24.
That came out to $5/shelf. The bad news is they were 40 pounds apiecen
(after they were cut down), but the weight was an OK tradeoff for the
price.

hi I have some shelves you might be interested in...
some are broken into 2 pieces never been used and some are full 13x26
rectangles and have a slight warp to them. I used them for oxidation cone 8.
I also have some half roungs of the same size if you or anyone is interested
ill inventory them and send you a list...
Shipping woudl be the expencive part though. I sent 100 lbs to the midwest
for about $100.00 these shelves are near washington DC.
