Friends of mine (potter and painter), will be traveling to New Mexico
area next month - Las Cruces, Bisbee, Silver City, Lordsboro and some
other places near there. Are there any interesting galleries, potters to
meet or anything you can think of that might be of interest to them.TIA

Kate Brown is a functional low fire production potter whose work is shown
in the Hot Water Gallery in Silver City NM. You can probably contact her
thru the gallery. Claude Smith teaches ceramics at the University there and
I'm sure that he would be very helpful if you get a hold of him. Also the
Univ. in Silver City has a good collection of Native American pottery.
Have a great time, it's a beautiful area. Linda

They should go to the Weyrich Gallery in Albuquerque. If they arrive after
the middle of the month, they can see an exhibition of works by the
Washington Potters Association.
