The University of Alabama is in the process of searching (pending
funding, they make me say that) for a Printmaker. We would encourage
immediate applications from qualified candidates, holding an MFA with
a specialization in Printmaking and secondary teaching experience in
drawing or design.
This is a one year position while the department conducts a national
search for a permanent tenure earning candidate. The individual who
is hired for this year would certainly be in line for the tenure
earning position.
Applications should include slides of the candidate's work and
student work, if available, a letter of application stating teaching
philosophy, transcripts and the names and phone numbers of at least
three references.
All this should be sent to my office by June 15, 1996.
