I visited NYC last year and found surprisingly few galleries that carried
pots. You might have better luck than I did. Of course there's the Garth
Clark Gallery, and I believe the Babcock Gallery is in the same area (at
that time they had some really high end stuff in their back room -- Hans
Coper, Lucie Rie, etc.)
There was one potter -- she may be on this list -- named Posey B (?) who
does nice majolica. I think she's in the Tribeca area with a group called
Tribeca Potters (?). I don't have a number. Maybe they're in the phone
book. She could probably point you toward others. Good luck.
